Fill the steamer base with 64oz of water and add 1 heaping tbsp of the steaming herbs. Turn the steamer to high heat, letting the herbs boil for a few minutes, then reduce heat so that a light but steady flow of steam rises from the water. More vigorous steam, indicating greater heat, could be damaging and even burn sensitive skin. Place your yoni steam chair over the steamer, and before sitting down, test the heat of the steam with the inside of your wrist. Once seated, wrap a sheet around your waist to keep steam in. Steam twice a week for 20-30 minutes, skipping the week of menstruation.
